Meet Waldo

The man behind the camera.

"Being able to capture a vision and then share it to the world is what made a hobby turn into a passion. If you were to ask me growing up what I wanted to be when I got older, a photographer was definitely not within the options. A good old saying "Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life" by Mark Twain, is one of the biggest reasons why a passion turned into a job where I no longer have to work a day in my life.  Many would agree that is the icing to the cake, but I believe it is the reaction of those that connect with my work.

Born and raised in a small town located in the state New Jersey, I grew up greatly influenced by various cultures. After 15 years, I ended up moving to the state of Indiana. Even though it was not an exciting moment, it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. I like to believe things happen for a reason and with a little bit of hope, hard work, and dedication the impossible becomes possible. Even though Shots By Waldo became what it is now because of a dream, that dream became a dream because of the unconditional support and inspiration of those around me in addition to the many people I've met along the way." - Usbaldo Gomez aka Waldo
